using up or remaking butter toffee peanuts?

We got a big bag of butter toffee peanuts to snack on but they’re ok at best. I would love ideas on how to use the 2 cups we have left. As simple or fanciful as you like!

Mix them into a salty snack mix?

If it's the same kind of candied peanuts I'm thinking of, my mom puts them in popcorn balls and chex mix.

They'd also be perfect for kitchen sink cookies.

I don't think I've ever come across butter toffee peanuts, but if they're peanuts coated in toffee, I bet they'd work just fine half-and-half with chocolate chips in your favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe. If they're not salted, consider adding salt, maybe in the form of sea or kosher salt.

I'm basing this on the fact that milk or plain chocolate chips with salted roasted peanuts in a cookie base made with dark brown sugar (which gives it a faint toffee flavour) make delicious cookies.

If you have an ice cream maker I bet they'd be fantastic in some kind of ice cream.

Or if you don't have an ice cream maker, use them as a sundae topping!

I'd put them in a peanut butter cookie. There are recipes for bacon fat pb cookies and now I'm drooling thinking about that. Maybe with some dark chocolate chips in there too.

Melt some chocolate, make homemade candy bars or patties.

I have seen multiple times on the Great British Bake Off someone blitzing some candied nuts in a blender or food processor resulting in a crumble that can be used for toppings or garnish. Sometimes it's a save because the nuts didn't glaze well and sometimes it's all part of their master plan, but maybe something like that - you could probably also use them in that form as a more subtle add-in to a cookie or brownie, rather than including them whole where the size/texture might be not quite what you want .
