Good venues in UK for indie band

My band is playing a festival in Morecambe, UK which is near Manchester and Blackpool. Does anyone know a good venue in that area that we could play? The band plays garage rock/psych. Big enough to have a opening slot in an underground festival but not big enough to have any substantial draw.

Try the Soup Kitchen or Deaf Institute in Manchester. Or the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, or the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge.

Don't know of any venues there (beyond the very obvious and famous Cavern) but know there's a decent psych scene in Liverpool, which is also nearby. Maybe worth putting a shout out on social media - Stealing Sheep have put on nights for sure.

Escape to Freight Island in Manchester. Up to you to sort out fit for your style, but it's an awesome new-ish partially outdoors venue/bar/restaurant with a very eclectic approach to everything.
