Understanding clothing fashions of recent decades?

Are there any good ways to understand the clothing fashion trends of recent decades? I feel like I understand the key styles of several decades ago--or at least recent cultural parodies that we see of them--but without critical distance, it is hard to understand fashion trends of the most recent decades. Are there books, videos, timelines, or other ways to understand the key differences between fashions of, say, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020??

I like the Fashion History Timeline.

I can't find the "decade overview" for 2010-2019 but they have 1990-1999 and 2000-2009

Vogue magazine keeps pretty extensive archives of fashion trends and previous publications. I'd start there. Their articles on trends have been some of the most-respected in the fashion community for decades.
