A cheap Android tablet for the kitchen

I want to buy a large tablet to mount on a kitchen cabinet to use only for online recipes.

I'm sick of dirtying up my phone when cooking or baking a recipe from the internet and definitely don't want to use an expensive tablet. I just want a cheap, kitchen+dedicated tablet.
That's basically it. Able to go online to websites. Hold a charge. Be large.
Any recommendations?

Amazon Fire 7 or Fire 8. Leave it in "Show Mode", and it emulates an Amazon Echo Show so it's basically an Alexa device with a screen when you're not using the browser. Cheap as dirt when on sale, or get a refurb model from Amazon, as low as $50 (or lower).

If you're willing to accept the Amazon ecosystem, there's little that's better/cheaper than the Fire line.

If by large you mean bigger than 10" you'll have a lot more limited options.

We use a Kindle Fire 3 as a kitchen recipe book. I got it at the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Alabama for less than $20. They have quite a few Fire 8s for sale online at very reasonable prices. https://www.unclaimedbaggage.com/collections/shop?q=kindle+fire+8

i waited for the next sale and got a 10" fire tablet from amazon for just this purpose. works great.

i intended to Google-ize it like I've done some other fire tablets but i never got around to that and really don't need to.

Would you consider a chrome tablet? Unlike cheaper android tablets, they are well supported. I see the 10.1 inch Lenovo Chromebook Duet (Which comes with a keyboard) on sale right now for $189 at Best Buy
