How to Evict Pigeons

There are numerous pigeons roosting in the alley on the south side of my house (or more specifically on the two windowsills on my neighbours' house, and on the electrical outfittings on mine), and leaving a lot of droppings. I've tried Bird-X gel but it only worked temporarily, despite re-application. I'm thinking the next step is probably anti-roosting devices, which I can't install myself because it'll require scaffolding. Can anyone recommend a Toronto-area company that can install anti-roosting devices? Or are there other options I'm not thinking of?

I used Pigeon Tom 3 years ago when I had a mother pigeon and two babies living on my balcony. He installed a bird net. Fast and efficient and got the job done. Highly recommend.

You may want to include pictures and ask what they recommend and call around to others to do a price comparison.

If there are opening windows, you could easily install anti-bird spikes like these, but I guess maybe the windows don't open which is why you would need scaffolding. You could perhaps string wires up to prevent birds from landing, which might be cheaper? Hard to tell without pictures.

Did you try a plastic owl?
