Everysong Everywhere All At Once Playlist?

Everything Everywhere All At Once already has a lovely soundtrack. I'm looking for songs related to the themes of the movie so I can make my own playlist.

I listened to (in order) Perfume Genius's "Slip Away," Mitski and David Byrne's beautiful "This Is a Life" (from EEAOO), and The Beach Boys's "God Only Knows" and realized that I'd like a full playlist that reminds me of themes this movie explores. David Bowie's "Time," of course, but...joy, melancholy, lives that could have been...what else ya got? If you've seen the movie, you know the moods. Make me cry. Make me bittersweet-smile. Make me joyous and grateful. Thank you!

are instrumentals cool, or are you looking for lyrical similarity to the themes?

Is “Absolutely (Story of a Girl)” too obvious? :)

Response by poster: Lyrical similarity for preference, thanks. And "Absolutely" is fine--but I guess I'm thinking about the movie as a lens through which to hear/re-hear other music. ("God Only Knows" just... I mean, how many times have I heard it? But reflecting on famous Evelyn and CEO Waymond made me aware of it in a new way.)

I feel like there's a few Velvet Underground songs that give a similar vibe for me, in particular "Stephanie Says", "Sweet Jane", "Sunday Morning" just off the top of my head. A lot of their songs have an undercurrent of "imagine how life could be different" and "imagine what we'd be if we'd made different choices".

LOL also maybe "Once in a Lifetime", is that one too obvious?

Tom Petty's A Face In The Crowd, maybe?

It's been years since I've listened to it, but maybe the soundtrack to Run Lola Run for the sheer relentless intensity. (Bonus eponysterical name of the person who posted it to youtube.)

For Lyrics, maybe Tuesday Afternoon? Not the right mood, but some of the right ideas.
