Best cotton percale pillowcases?

Which cotton percale pillowcases do you recommend? Ideally they would be crisp, soft, and cooling for the summer.

I need to buy a bunch of white cotton percale pillowcases for the summer. Are there any you've used and would recommend? They would need to be sold separately from a sheet set so I could buy several sets.

You may find this thread of interest. After reading it, I went on eBay and bought pillowcases.

This recent Ask of mine seems to indicate that vintage cotton percale is probably cooler. I haven't actually followed up to confirm yet, but there's a strong consensus.

On preview: nkknkk posted the link to my Ask as well.

I have a pair of LL Bean pillowcases that I bought secondhand off ebay and they are wonderful. Not certain if they are pima or percale (as LL Bean makes both) but they are the nicest cases I own.

I bought the L.L. Bean Pima Percale 280 pillowcases a few months ago (maybe based on a Wirecutter review?), and am sorry to say they're not nearly as soft as I'd hoped they'd be. Maybe after a few more washes. The best, best pillowcases I've ever had were Supima sateen from the Company Store.

Nthing LL Bean-- this line in particular. Only pillowcases/sheets I sleep on at home anymore. (Target has a Threshold set that are ok in a pinch if there's been a critical f-up and both sets are dirty.) Obviously not as soft as sateen immediately but more durable and FAR less hot and clingy.

I, my partner, and my mom are all devotees of the Bean Sunwashed Percale line. To make them even more heavenly, line dry and then iron.

I, too, like LL Bean's percale. They are crisp rather than soft (their "sateen" line is for softness).
