Heavy-duty/commercial screen hardware

I'm looking for materials that I can use to make my own high-quality window/door screens. So far I'm not having much luck.
I like to make my own window screens. The only materials I can find for sale to the public are light-weight, flimsy rolled frame and plastic corners. The resulting screens are flimsy and above a certain size deform if the screening (mesh) is tight enought not to sag.
I'd like to buy the heavy-duty extruded frame material that commercially produced screens use. So far I've struck out at brick and mortar hardware stores (Ace/True Value) and big box stores.
Is there a standard place for DIYers to get this sort of thing? To be clear, I'm only looking for the raw materials to make the frames--heavy duty mesh seems to be widely available.
I'm in the Chicagoland area, if it matters.

door frame "aluminium extrusions"|"aluminum extrusion" chicago
The first page had:
Frame World IL, with their Black Extrusions & Components. An amazing catalog they have too - this is just for Internal & Adjustable Corner Brackets (I'll save for my own ref!)
You will probably need a commercial account. Adding retail or "retail" to my search did not bring up anything very useful, at least not on the page.
I have purchased aluminium extrusion before (in New Zealand), as we have a company that does this well here, hence my answer from well outside US, hopefully it is useful.
