Looking for happy summer feet!

I need sandals. But I have sandal snowflakes. Come inside!
I usually wear Tom's all summer long, but I would like to have a nice pair of comfy strappy sandals in rotation too!
Requirements: no heels, or just very low heel (I don't own a car so my feet are my transportation!), very forgiving for walking in the city (make them comfy!), in basic black, available in 9.5 (one foot is slightly longer than the other), and preferably found in Canada.
I get nice pedicures every now and again, and this summer lemme show those toes off! TIA, AskMe friends!

I have been wearing Taos sandals for a few summers now. More comfortable and cuter than Birks IMO. I've absolutely walked thousands of miles in them. The style I have is available in black, and some others are too. (I wear a half size too and size down in these, if that's helpful.)

I've had multiple pairs of Tevas over the years and they've all been great for me. I even wore a pair on an accidental 5-mile walk around a city (we were a bit lost and just kept going) and my feet were fine afterwards.

Oh, if you mean more casual sandals, I bought some Teva Tirras last summer for water sandals but found myself wearing them a lot in casual situations, too. Very comfortable. They come in black.

I have an earlier iteration of these sandals from Sorel and I love them. Simple and classy but also very comfortable, and they still look great after a summer of wear. The only drawback is that they don’t have much padding or arch support, which is OK for me but ymmv.

I love my Chacos, their basic black model, I think it's Z-something. Things I love about them: can be strapped/configured to either have a toe loop or just have a strap over the entire foot; have very sturdy soles that I can walk miles and miles in w/no discomfort; via those sturdy soles, protect my feet from many stubs into chairs, tree roots, door sills, etc. that less sandals have allowed to cause pain.

I have some foot issues and my go-to sandals are from Born and Clarks.

I have a particular love of Dansko sandals . I've covered well over ten miles in a day in them and found them more comfortable than Tevas. Also, Charleston Shoe Company makes ridiculously comfortable sandal, though working more on the espadrille model. Super lighweight too.

I love my pretty much indestructible Luna sandals. I run in them, even.

I have loved every pair of Ecco sandals I've bought over the last 20 years. They are comfortable and (I think) cute. I have a previous iteration of these and have been my go-to sandals for the past two summers. I walk alllllll over the place in them and my feet feel great at the end of the day (I have many foot issues, so this is no small, uh, feat).

Birkenstocks are my go-to sandal for walking ten miles through the city in a day. Some varieties have more “cute strappy sandals” vibes than others, but they all have the sturdy sole I personally need for hot summer concrete. I find that the ones with the “Birko-flor”straps (as opposed to leather) have a much shorter breaking-in period and less tendency to cause irritation in the heat.

I love my Bedrock sandals. Very comfortable, great customer service, and I get compliments on them. Outdoorsy, not dress-up-y.
