USPS Priority Mail Changes (Quick Q)

What's up with USPS priority mail?

Recently the mail increased pricing for priority, as well as slightly altered some of the days.

If I recall correctly, I thought a "five day" warning had been issued for 2-3 day mail, as if the service had increased the likelihood of post arrival at about the four or five day mark. I absolutely recall reading this - any leads or referrals? Thanks!

Response by poster: EDIT: Yes.

That question, as well as, "Can you provide a link?" I literally just read this update for the USPS, at the USPS and online: Including updates for pricing. The pricing rose from approx. $8 to approx. $9.

Best answer: Well, here's a price list from USPS that lists the flat rate priority envelope as $8.95, as well as their COVID-19 statement from two years ago that is still posted prominently on the site.

Response by poster: "Priority Mail’stwo and three day service commitments now will be extended to three and four days respectively. Customers will continue to receive end-to-end visibility and improved product tracking, as well as up to $50 in free insurance."

Thank you! That was it!
