Trying to remember the name of an illustrator.

There was a 20th-century illustrator (a woman, I believe), who specialized in slightly-too-cutesy, sometimes even saccharine, cartoon pictures of children, usually at play. Very often featured on scrapbook paper and greeting cards. My grandmother was fond of her work. Does this ring any bells? Thanks in advance.

Wondering if it might have been Holly Hobbie or Kate Greenaway?

Especially considering a lot of her customer base, Mary Engelbreit is an absolute badass.

Whoa. Thanks for posting those links, cyndigo! Mary Engelbreit is a good reminder to me not to fall prey to stereotypes about elderly white women who draw cutesy pictures. She is super badass and refreshingly immune to caring what other people think about her Instagram posts about Black Lives Matter, pro-LGBTQ rights, pro-diversity, anti-racism, and abortion access.

My favourite bit from the "absolute" link:

ericapaule3: Too bad you lost half of your fan base who reads these remarks.

maryengelbreit: I'm okay with it.

ROCK ON MARY ENGELBREIT
