iPhone “Featured Photos” but not “Memories”?

I like the widget on my phone that shows me old photos of mine that I might enjoy, but I dislike the musical slideshow it sometimes does instead. Is there a way to have one without the other?

I believe I want what Apple calls “Featured Photos,” which are three or four photos, and not “Memories,” which is photos set to music and turned into a movie.

I use the "Photo Widget: Simple" app, which allows me to pick an album of photos that get displayed in my widget.
