Pleae Help Me Find a Book Title from Airport Bookstore

What's that fictional book about a woman who takes her mother's death pill and finally "LIVES."

I saw a book in an airport bookstore about a woman whose mother had been given a pill by her doctor that would cause death in exactly x days (something like 21 days). The mother didn't take it and ultimately died, so the woman had it and, I suspect afflicted with malaise, takes the pill. The book appeared to be about the x days until her death - something about finally living. It was in a literary section (whether it was actually literary I have no idea). The idea for some reason has stuck with me and I'd like to read the book. Ring a bell for anyone such that they could share the title? Thanks!

I don't THINK this is right, but Ottessa's Moshfegh's My Year of Rest and Relaxation has similar themes - it involves a woman whose parents are recently deceased and she spends a year being drugged out and sleeping all the time, and it's definitely literary fiction.

Best answer: Haven't read it, but a little googling brings up Twenty, by Debra Landwehr Engle, which has a synopsis that fits your description.
