Inventory software for Fire tablet and iPhone?

What software would you recommend for tracking inventory and cashflow that works cross platform on iOS and Fire tablets?
A friend started doing custom building of wooden furniture and its starting to take off. She's needs something better than the paper/pencil/memory she's been using to track inventory of her pieces, along with cash coming and out of the business.
She has an iPhone, but bought a Fire tablet to help do this, what software do you suggest she use. She's older and not great with technology and her vision isn't great. Ideally she's be able to work cross platform, but if she had to choose it would be Fire tablet only because of her eyes.

Unfortunately I can't really recomend one versus the other - we never launched our collectable/vintage store, so barely scrapped the surface of working with Shopify.
Perhaps some vendors have some free-tiers, or trials - and you could help her test and see which one would work.
Myself - I am cheap, for something simple, I would use a set of cloud-hosted spreadsheets - but if she is not technology-savvy, that would start to be unsupportable very quickly (i.e. ... "oops, I scrolled/zoomed to the wrong place in the spreadsheet, now I am lost" - I have had that happen with people who "know" Excel....)

Very few app developers support the Fire store -- it's too small a market, so it's not worth their time. You can theoretically install the Google Play store on Fire tablets, though I've never tried. It may be easier to return the Fire tablet and get a cheap normal Android tablet.
