Ding Dong, the witch will be dead in 34 years, 3 months and 2 days

Years ago, there was a kind of parlor game website that equated where you currently are in your (average) lifespan via the span of The Wizard of Oz.

You typed in your birthday, and the percentage of life you supposedly have left to live for an average lifespan was calculated onto whatever scene of The Wizard of Oz had the same percent of remaining movie time.
Obviously this was not scientific or reliable, it was just entertaining.
I can't find the website any more. Does it still exist?

Best answer: It was Where Are You In The Movie, posted on MeFi back in 2009. The page is dead, unfortunately, and doesn't seem to survive in usable form on Archive.org. There may be a way to reconstruct it from what was saved, but the lack of Flash player support in current browsers is an obstacle. Or maybe contact the developer to see if they're interested in reviving it?

Best answer: Looked at this again and can't believe I missed it -- the site was originally a MeFi Project and the creator condour75 is still active here if you want to message him about it!

Response by poster: Wow! Thank you very much for this great information, Rhaomi. Even though the site is down, this is fascinating. I didn't see it through metafilter back then, but just through a friend, so it obviously circulated a lot...
