What are your favorite social media vaccine explainers?

I'm interested in making a sort of "best of" list of folks who do really great covid vaccine explainers on social media.

Not just "you should get vaccinated" content, but social media content that does a great job of explaining some of the tricky questions people have.

For example:

- How do mRNA vaccines work and how were they tested for safety?
- What is the difference between passive and active immunity?
- Why is herd immunity important?
- How to talk to loved ones about vaccine misinformation?
- How does the VAERS work?

Bonus for posts that are funny or that kids might enjoy too!

Example: Fork hands mRNA explainer

Note - I am already aware that large orgs like WHO and CDC produce social media content. The question is about either specific pieces of content you really enjoyed or folks producing social media content that's great who might not be part of the obvious public health go-to resources like CDC.

Dr. Kat, epidemiologist (@epidemiologistkat on TikTok). She makes a lot of content where she answers people's questions about COVID and the vaccine, like your examples.

If you go through Laurel Bristow's instagram (fka kinggutterbaby) story highlights, she covers nearly every tricky topic. She's created a Google Doc index to her own explanations that is also hepful.

Dr. Kimberly Manning is a master. Look for stories that she puts under the #BlackWhysMatter or #WhatsYourWhy hashtag. Here's one example of the kind of brilliant communicating and storytelling she does.

The "In The Bubble" podcast by Andy Slavitt is by a D.C. insider who is able to get really good people on his show.

He's strongly pro-vax, but will talk with anyone, so his guests are usually primary sources.

Response by poster: Just a reminder - the ask is specifically for social media content, so please no podcasts, TV shows, articles, or other longform content.
