Shop app not updating itself?

I really like to use the shop app to keep track of my deliveries/orders… usually it just knows I’ve made a purchase and adds that purchase to its queue of my waiting deliveries and begins and continues to update me on its progress. But…

Lately it hasn’t been updating itself with my new purchases, even from the same sites. I tried unlinking and re-linking some of the main stores I use on there and nothing happened (although linking the store does not seem to be necessary to have Shop pick up the purchase and track it for me - it’s done it even on small websites.) I would like for it to work again. Help?

It's not just you - I've been having problems with it recently, too.

Response by poster: Also - my credit card info is correct but it keeps saying card declined when I try to use shop app to pay for it (they donate trees with purchases)
