Has anyone had experiences with the Modern Mystery School?
I'm getting conflicting information about the Modern Mystery School, which offers meditation and life activation classes. A friend of a friend I've met involved with it locally say it's hugely benefited them and is encouraging other to go to their classes, but I'm finding articles online that make it sound like a MLM style cult. Has anyone here gone to their classes, and if so did you find it helpful?

A family member is in it. She was a fairly early joiner and teaches course with MMS. She doesn't talk about it much, but her social media is full of the MMS classes she is teaching and lots of aspirational "manifesting wealth" posts.
I don't know if it is a cult, though she was in cults before. But this seems like a pyramid scheme!

I suspect the Harvard of metaphysics doesn't announce itself, but maybe I'm not very smart.
Also, someone finding kindred spirits with their own perception of personal psychic abilities can be read as finding their identity and at face value, or potentially a temporary zone of people bonding over shared traumas and expressions of those traumas (for/with sex and money/projected leadership, etc), depending on what personal beliefs the viewer/experiencer holds.

The Modern Mystery School boasts more than 900 “certified practitioners” worldwide, and there are hundreds of Mystery School affiliates, with names like Sacred Vibrations and Sky Spirit Healing, offering services ranging from psychic readings to crystal healings and exorcisms." If you're going to do this, fine, but stop charging money?
.. it sounds so creepy, I'd probably try it once, then never again.

Personally I had never heard of it before, but your question prompted me to look into it and, well, I guess just read this and decide for yourself.
