ISO: Template for Making "First Day of School" board

I want one of those "NAME's First Day of School." "I'm in ____________" "My teacher is _______" "My favourite books are...." etc. boards. Having browsed some available online, none are exactly what I want. I'm pretty handy with inDesign and Photoshop. Surely somebody has made a template for these things so it has some nice chalk-fonts/ effects, some suggested layout guides etc. Something designed for making cafe chalk-marker menus or outside-the-cafe signs would also work, since the look is the same. Obviously I am willing to pay the creator of said template, but it's for non-commercial use, so let's not go crazy.

Not quite sure what you're looking for. If you're not happy with what you've found, then how will a template help you? Why not just create what you want in InDesign?

Browsing Etsy can give you inspiration for creating your own sign from scratch. Or you can purchase from the makers--some of those are actual signs; some are printables.

Response by poster: Basically they all tend to have categories I don't want. So with a template I'd have backgrounds/fonts/effects/colour scheme/layouts.

Tons of Cricut-makers have these. The search term I used was “first day svg” and here’s the first Etsy result

Response by poster: shesdeadimalive, I'm looking for a template that would let me make those, not those already done ones where I just fill in the info. Does that make any sense? I want to decide what the questions are, not just answer the questions.

I've found Canva to be great for this sort of thing. It's free, quick, and user-friendly. I searched the templates for "chalk sign" and found some promising starting points. I usually apply a template and then mess around with the fonts, color scheme, and layout.
