Name this Cat!

Picking up this girl tomorrow and we having trouble coming up with a name that we all like. Wife doesn't like "human" names for cats. I don't like "food" names for cats. Doesn't have to have anything to do with her coloring, but bonus points if it does. Ideally the name would also have a cute nickname pairing. Thanks!

Response by poster: More kitten pictures. Not sure if relevant, but she will have "brother" Tigger. Ideally the name would "sound good" (roll of the tongue.)

No people names and no food names are really the Jack Sprat and wife of kitten naming requirements.

Luckily, her name is Puffin. You can call her Puff for short.

Go for one of the various Terry Pratchett goblin names. Tears of the Mushroom would be my first choice, but there are plenty of good options.

The bitch (Mom Dalmatian) in 101 Dalmatians is Perdita or Perdy. She’s not spotted, but she’s ‘purdy’. Congratulations.

Tuxie- for tuxedo.

Umbra or Skia? Nomative form words for "shadow" in Latin and Greek, respectively, and tuxies always look like they're standing in/running through a shadow.

Skimbleshanks is not traditionally a tux, but she does look like a bit like a Skimbles.

Ariel. Both for Shakespeare's playful spirit, and those satellite-dish ears.

(The real answer is, live with her for a week or two and she'll name herself.)
