I’m fine, thanks. And so is my hair.

You have fine hair that goes limp at just the thought of humidity—perhaps it’s shoulder length—and you use a shampoo that you love that provides body/volume. Please tell me about it! (Bonus points if it’s available online)

Not shampoo or conditioner but I swear by these two products:

EVO styling powder. Just a little dusting and it looks great.

living proof in shower styler. Definitely brush your hair thoroughly before using, but it's effective and very cool.

Dry shampoo, I've been using Nivea and Aussie interchangeably. You can get them for various hair colours now, and Nivea especially doesn't have much of that dry shampoo smell.

Honestly I think what what you want is a styling product. The only way for a shampoo to “provide volume” is for it to coat the hair with something. If it’s doing that, you’re going to get build-up over time, which just weighs the hair down more. That said, you don’t want an overly harsh shampoo. I’m a fan of Hibar shampoo bars.

For styling, salt sprays tend to be effective for fine hair, as they add a rougher texture.

pinch of baking powder on a hair brush is weirdly as good as dry shampoo for me, beleive it or not.

You can definitely overdo it, but definitely worth a try if you have it and are experimenting.

Came here to say styling powder too. It really is the product I didn't know existed.

I use this as a product, not as a dry shampoo, but the R&Co Badlands Dry Shampoo Paste changed my life about six years ago and I haven't been disappointed since.
