How to tell LinkedIn that I don't want to work in a particular city

At one point I was looking for a job in city A. I'm now looking for a job in city B and city C instead. When I go to the recommended jobs section it keeps showing me jobs in all of those cities. How do I tell LinkedIn to stop showing me jobs in city A? I'm sure there is probably a simple solution but I can't seem to find it.

Do you mean the "Recommended for you" section at https://www.linkedin.com/jobs? In my experience, there's no way to brute-force it; you just have to do a lot of searches, strictly using the new criteria, and eventually the algorithm will downgrade the old criteria. It might help to click the search boxes at the top of that page and clear your search history (note that each box has its own 'clear' button).

Best answer: Maybe your profile is set such that you are open to opportunities in those cities? This link should take you directly to where you can change the "Job Locations" you're open to. (more info on being open to opportunities here, on LinkedIn's help site. )
