Galaxy s9 to s21 frustration

With my s9 I could press the "home" icon on the always on screen to wake the phone up. With the s21 I can't figure out how to set it the same way. *super pout* *hope me*

Best answer: This thread suggests that that feature was due to a pressure sensitive button that is no longer present. That and other threads suggest using the "double tap to wake" feature.

Looks like there are options to either raise the phone to wake it or double tap the screen to wake it.

When you say "wake the phone" do you mean show the lock-screen or unlock the phone and show the home screen?

Response by poster: I meant wake as in show the home screen. Really going to miss that pressure sensitive button. Double tap seems to be working the way I want now that I set it to go straight to the home screen instead of the swipe to open screen. Thanks :)

I recently bought the s21 and am pretty happy with it, although the fingerprint sensor isn't as responsive as the one on my old Huawei P9 (which was on the back and so intuitively you'd touch it as you picked up the phone).

The s21 has a Lift to Wake feature, which turns on the home screen just by lifting the phone. No need to tap the screen, although double tap is also useful.
