Sharing Instagram account access (within limits)

Is there a way to share access to a single IG account without handing over the keys to my other linked IG/FB accounts?

I want to set up an Instagram account for my daughter's Etsy store. I grabbed the relevant account name/handle, call it GIRLSTORE.

My ex has asked for access to the GIRLSTORE account to be able post images. I'm fine with this, within reasonable security limits.

I'm trying to find out if there's a way I can give someone access to the GIRLSTORE account, but without opening up access to my other linked IG & Facebook accounts, including the ability to change passwords, etc.

Like being able to come into my gallery and hang photos, but not go anywhere else in the building, or lock me out.

Is that possible? Or is it an all-or-nothing thing? Would linking the account to a dummy email address be an option?

If it is a business account, you can absolutely grant access to the account without exposing the linked accounts. This post explains how to give access. (I have no association with the person.)

If it is not yet a business account, Instagram lets you convert it over to one.

Response by poster: Thanks. That page says you have to have an associated Facebook business page, though. Not having any luck linking GIRLSTORE to a different (dummy) email address--seems like all your IG accounts have to be linked to only one email...
