Trying to remember a movie about a killer child of Satan

It's time for another edition of "Name! that! Movie!" I would have sworn I saw this on Elvira's Movie Macabre, but I've been through the episode list and nothing seems to match. It would have been a low-budget horror film made in the 60's or 70's.

The movie was about a baby who is probably the child of Satan who goes around killing people. The main protagonist is a man, he may be a detective trying to solve the murders or he may know the mother (he may even be the father of the child, see below). I believe a lot of it is shot from the perspective of the child/demon in slasher style. The child ages rapidly (being the spawn of Satan and all) so is able to run around and stuff.

Anything above could be incorrect, but this is what I remember very clearly: at the very end, the man finally corners the kid and kills him. We see the child clearly for the very first time and it is the first time we hear him speak. The child has fur and claws and goat's feet, and he says in a goaty voice, "why did you hurt me, Da-a-a-a-ddy?" Child dies. Roll credits.

Like I said above, this would have been on late-night TV (in the USA) in the eighties. Anybody remember it?

This sounds like maybe The Omen?

If it wasn't Elvira's show, could it have been one of the movies from USA Up All Night?

Best answer: I think I found it: Blood Bath (1975). It was featured on Movie Macabre, but the link on that wikipedia episode list points to a different film by the same name -- no wonder you couldn't identify it from that.

This seems pretty much exactly like the scene you described:
[YT link]

(If it doesn't load there, jump to around the 1 hour 20 minute mark. It's a horror anthology film, so this scene is not actually at the end -- but credits do indeed roll right after this scene!)

Response by poster: alyxstarr, you have made my week! That is DEFINITELY the scene.
I've been looking for that movie off and on for years. I was convinced it was Blood on Satan's Claw (also on Movie Macabre), until I was able to watch that one recently and of course that's a completely different movie. Never would have guessed it was an anthology. Off to see if it was ever released on DVD. Thank you!

Response by poster: Or, on closer inspection, I'll just watch the movie at the link alyxstarr provided. I was so excited I didn't notice it was all there.
