Does anyone have a recommendation for a company or individual to consult regarding my resume for a law school application. Everything else in my application is done, but I have only every used my resume for work, and I would like to review it with a professional before I submit it.

Listen, if you've used your resume to get hired at a standard grown-up job at a non-outre company, it's good enough (that is, it most likely doesn't have any crazy red flags in it). Don't spend money on something that will barely be glanced at.

There are private college counselors, and some will also work with grad school applicants. Costs a fortune, though.

Check for typos and you’re fine. In my 1L small group we all traded resumes and the styles were wildly different. It’s ok.

Can you work your network for a friend of a friend who is a recent law school grad, particularly of the school you are most interested in? They would be the best resource. I would not hire a company. My mom reviewed mine and she is way more critical than like anyone, and it was fine.

... Do you even need the resume for the application? So many 1Ls are straight-throughs (straight from college to law school, no intervening career). I don't think my application had a resume included...
