I want to buy a foreclosure home in Lubbock Texas. Tax sale or bank foreclosure both are ok. I have looked but can't find a reliable source, where can I find these listings?

Best answer: by looking at auction.com and Zillow (I think Zillow actually uses auction.com) and seeing zero, I would guess that there just aren't any foreclosures there rn
I did buy a foreclosure home once and it was listed at auction.com, which made me think they list every foreclosure there. idk

I just checked Realtor.com - you can filter it to show only foreclosures. It’s currently showing zero foreclosures.

Tax sale procedures and laws vary widely by state and sometimes by county within a state. I don’t know the Lubbock, TX area, but I would start by calling the county office to ask them when their next auction is and to send you a list of available properties. A quick google search seems to show that Lubbock holds online auctions, and the most recent one was in October 2020. Many counties hold these sales annually, so you may have to wait until October—but again, you should confirm with someone from the county office.
