On a recommendation from Joyce Carol Oates on Twitter, I want to read Stavrogin's Confession from Dostoyevsky's The Possessed. What translation should I get?

Her complete tweet read:
rereading Dostoyevsky after a few years, his most powerful condensed prose/ chapter excised from "The Possessed," titled "Stavrogin's Confession." as a single work, more impressive than any of his short stories, yet little known.

Looking at Oates' writing on the subject, in Tragic Rites in Dostoyevski's The Possessed, it would appear she was using The Possessed, trans. Andrew R. MacAndrew (New York, signet edition, 1962). She also references David Magarshack, who did a translation of The Possessed (under the title The Devils) for Penguin Books.
