Source for small-head Chicago screws?

I want to buy some smaller Chicago screws, but I can only find them with 10mm heads. Can anyone suggest a source for smaller ones -- say, 7mm? I am trying to assemble small items made of rather thin leather (e.g. three layers about 1-2mm thick each).

Most vendors seem to list them with only the length of the post as the indicated dimension, so searching on a size brings up all items with the usual, too-big heads.

If I should be searching for something else, I always like learning new words!

Any help is much appreciated!

This is maybe 8mm? Here's the purchase page for the 3/16 barrel bolts which I think should have a 5/16" head.

Tandy Leather?

Also apparently they're called "sex bolts" so maybe that will turn up more examples?

I'm surprised to discover my usual vendors all stop at 10mm heads, even for m4 screws, which is weird. Any chance ordinary low profile screws and press fit nuts would work? You could potentially dice up some metal tubing to make a floating shaft/spacer if you need it.

(My spouse used to work in a leather shop, but they used hammered rivets for everything and just tore them out and replaced them with larger ones when repairing things. Usually they tried to sell the customer on a replacement instead.)

On mobile & their websites don't work well for searches on same, so no specific links, but try
Fastenal or McMaster-Carr.

Yeah, McMaster Car is the jam for hardware.

If you need lots of them, their prices are never great, but their customer service has divulged their sources for me for several projects that I’ve needed bulk or ongoing hardware for.

This says the head diameter is 7.2 mm. I can't vouch for the site, but the key search term was 'miniature'. You might also have some luck with hardware for scale models and trains/dollhouses.
