Polyamory friendly therapist in Seattle with experience with addiction issues
Looking for a therapist in the Seattle area, although I'm pretty flexible about that (I figure visits will be remote for awhile). Not expecting insurance to cover this so that doesn't matter.
1) My spouse is an alcoholic in recovery and I'm looking for someone who knows addiction issues (spouse is in a program but not AA). This is really key, and will probably be a lot of what I'm dealing with. Awhile ago I worked with a therapist who was pretty good but I felt like she didn't quite get some of the challenges of addiction, which often left me frustrated.
2) We're also polyamourous, which wouldn't be a big focus of therapy but would be mentioned.
3) I have a history of having had abortions, which, again, wouldn't be a huge thing but would be mentioned, and I don't want to have to feel self conscious about it. I know "sex positive" is a term but that addiction piece again is so key for me.
4) Not couples therapy, just for me. No specific issue we're working through, and generally happy in the relationship but I am needing perspective and support.
