Looking for a Blog of Dissections of Muppets

A long while ago, I'm sure I saw a blog of a (fairly) serious blog covering the dissection of (various) Muppet Characters... The only one which sticks in my mind is Big Bird, but I have a feeling it looked at the bone structure and biology of various Muppet characters. Does anyone else remember this and know where it is?

When I say "fairly serious" I seem to recall it using latin and technical latin terms in the descriptions of bones and guts and things.

I'm sure I saw this somwhere on the Internet, I'm pretty sure I didn't dream it.

I looked through lots of posts here on MeFi and AskMeFi (and got somewhat distracted by some fantasic music! Like Stevie Wonder's Supersticion (with what I think may be a fair number of members of the Blues Brothers band), so please forgive me if I've missed something obvious.

Not exactly what you described, but have you seen these XXRAY figurines? The collection has cutaways of the insides of many characters, including many from Sesame Street.

Response by poster: Damn! @kittydelsol, I should have said in the description. Yes, I'd found them, too (and they look fun) but no. More of a blog, with pictures/description rather than a objects

This sounds like Jason Freeny’s work. I know he’s done one of Elmo, not sure about other Muppets.

Response by poster: No, sorry, not an XXRAY, more something like this Wiki Pigeon Anatomy drawing... only BigBird

Another friend suggested this https://www.henson.com/jimsredbook#10/9-12/1984 – ‘SS inserts.’

Response by poster: This, by Brad McGinty is closer, but still too cartoony (as did the idea of MAD Magazine, though did seem reasonable) - I'm sure it was treated as a (cross-)section in Encyclopedia Britannica would show how a bird works!

Best answer: Was it this blog post by Mike Dickison? There was also a MetaFilter post about it. I don't know if he ever did any other muppets.
