Present ideas for a trivia buff?

I'm looking to buy an 'experience gift' or some other present for a trivia player and her daughter. Any suggestions? Details inside...

She's a work colleague in her late 50s who is a lawyer and acts as a referral source for me. Her daughter is in her early 20s. We are located in Toronto, Canada. I'm looking to spend in the $100ish range, but would spend up to $250 for the right present. My preference would be an 'experience gift' that they could do if one is at school and the other in a different location, but am open to other suggestions.

Her daughter is the big trivia person, but she'd love something do with her daughter. She loves Harry Potter, basketball, they have a dog. Recently bought a cottage so something that could be done in a more remote area could be good. Can try to provide other details if you think that would be helpful. Thanks!

Best answer: Maybe this live virtual tour of Lello bookstore and other Harry Potter inspiration sites in Porto? Caveat - I haven’t done this one so cannot vouch for it personally but there are a bunch of others covering other cities or topics that might interest them (eg Rome and poetry, Amsterdam history).

Best answer: The answer is Inkling. A trivia contest that comes to you. My sister gifted it to me and my long-distance partner. You can do it as a two-person team as long as you submit one answer sheet. We're not good enough to win but it was fun to play. Comes with some extra nifty stuff (pins, a cool postcard) and is well-designed. Registration goes live in a week!

Best answer: I am going to suggest a puzzle/locked room experience. It is highly interactive and can be quite immersive.

The creator of Inkling is a friend of mine from the trivia community, and she’s both a wonderful artist and a wonderful content creator. (And a wonderful human, too!)

Many pub quiz companies are offering private events via Zoom or other services. (We just had one for my birthday; it was GREAT!) If they might be interested in involving other friends and family - no particular skill required; it’s a great time to just hang out - that could be really fun! Plenty of options for very custom content about the players and their interests, too.
