Did Ted Bundy say this?

I heard a speaker say that when Ted Bundy was asked how he could kill another human, he replied "there are so many people . . . what does it matter?" Can you help me find this quote, or find who actually said it?

I couldn't find it in the transcript of his final interview.

Best answer: This was in a series of prison interviews he gave and is cited in this article (cw: general execution talk etc).

Response by poster: Thank you for finding this. I hope I never read the full transcripts. I find that his attitude towards people is reflected by a number of governments and corporations.

Response by poster: “He would cling to the belief that there would be virtually no furor over it . . . " Bundy said. “I mean, there are so many people.

“It shouldn’t be a problem. What’s one less person on the face of the earth, anyway?”
