Mechanical sequences in stop-motion or 3D animation via indie animators?

I'm looking for clips of animated mechanical processes (think factories or inner workings of a machine or whatnot) which are created using either stop-motion or modeling or 3D-animation. Preferably from indie or student projects - the kinds you see at film or animation festivals.

Here's one example of what I'm looking for - the MST3K Door Sequence.

Another example is Mad God by Tippett studios.

I'm just trying to find examples of an aesthetic I'm seeking, which could be done for a non-astronomical budget. Thanks!
