Looking for an Orcinus essay about definitions of fascism

I'd have sworn there was a long thorough discussion (*not* the one about Liberal Fascism) at Orcinus, but I can't find it. Other recommendations for discussions of defining fascism are welcome.

Other memories: "academic cottage industry", "not an ideology, a mood", Umberto Eco, and possibly also Borges.

Best answer: Rush, Newspeak and Fascism - an Exegesis by David Neiwert, from 2003.

Response by poster: I think that's it. I miss the old essay, but sections II and III cover a lot of the same ground.

Thank you.
