What's this comedy bit? Similar to Louis CK's "everything's amazing"...

It's about the ridiculousness of how one can feel entitled to things that are actually luxuries or nice-to-haves. I can't remember the specific example it uses (maybe nothing to do with real estate), but the cadence and feel of it was something like "You mean you're apartment hunting in Manhattan, and you refuse to consider anything that's not by the park AND by a subway AND a Trader Joe's? What are you, a billionaire/French king/etc.?!". But funnier ;)

It's broadly similar to Louis CK's classic "everything is amazing and nobody is happy" bit, but it's not that. If you want to just give me a list of bits similar to that though, that'd help!

I watch a lot of Jerry Seinfeld, Marc Maron and people in their orbit, so it might be from them or someone adjacent.

FWIW, I want to use this to make a point with my brother about apartment hunting, hence my illustrative-only example above.

It's a longshot, but Gary Gulman's Telephone 1.0 (starting at about 3:35) has something like this. (The whole thing is funny, though!)

Possibly Patton Oswalt's bit from "My Weakness is Strong" about the "rocketbus to Galveston"?

I would imagine that the routine was in reference to House Hunters or one of the similar HGTV shows.

Yeah I think it was John Mulaney in one of his specials, about House Hunters.

Best answer: I know this was from a few days ago, but I think you might be thinking of this bit, also from Louis C.K.

Response by poster: Yes, that's it! Thanks FakeFreyja.

For future Googlers: Louis CK on Blu Ray players. "Being a consumer is like a job." "I've gotta get the best one." "Who are you, the king of Siam, that you've gotta get the best one?"
