Lodging near Snow Summit Ski Area

Is there any decent lodging within walking distance of the Snow Summit ski area in Big Bear, California?
I want to go up with a friend on Tuesday for a couple days, but, I don't know anything about the area. The stuff I find online looks really cheesy and old. And it seems like there is nothing right on or near Snow Summit. I was looking to spend 200 a night or less. Can anyone out there point me to a really swell cabin, hotel, lodge, or vacation rental near Snow Summit?
