Looking to Buy a Laser Printer for Art and Writing

Has to be proven to last longer than 1 year. Priced around 100 bucks with toner that's not going to be that expensive to replace. Catch is has to have a European plug and 220v. I'd like to veer away from HP and towards Brother, but open to your suggestions.

Any of the budget Brother lasers should be fine. We've had a HL-2340DW for several years, and it's worked perfectly well for home/small business use. We've always used third-party toner cartridges, again with no problems.

I don't think your description of the problem is sufficient to provide a useful answer. I'm not sure anyone makes a dual voltage laser printer; the fuser seems to be the limiting factor.

Brother is everyone's choice for good low cost laser printers; look at previous questions for the same recommendations. Like, pipeski, I use third party toner cartridges with no problems.

However...
Brother printers sold in the USA are not dual voltage.

You can search amazon.co.uk and sort by price to find 220v laser printers. If sold by amazon.co.uk, they ship to the USA. However, international shipping is extraordinarily slow right now. It may take months to get products.

Catch is has to have a European plug and 220v.

And the reason for this is? Moving to Europe?

You say art and writing. Will you be needing a color laser printer for the art?

If you need color, you won't find a laser printer at the ~$100 price-point, and dual voltage is probably not an option for laser printers in general. Otherwise, I'd recommend the Brother B/W laser that's usually recommended.
