Cell phone mount for lefties

Left-handed people: what do you use to mount your cell phone in your car?

I'd like to mount my cell phone to the left of my steering wheel. I drive a KIA Soul with very little space on the top of the dash to mount anything, so my best option is an air-vent clip. But almost every picture I see shows the device mounted in the center air vents (i.e. to the right of the steering wheel). Presumably these should work in the left vent as well, but I'm looking for some real-life confirmation and/or recommendations. Do you have a device that's mounted on the left? If so can you link me to the specific brand/model? Other ideas are welcome as well.

Hey! I'm not left handed, but what my wife and I use are Pop Sockets on our phone, and pop socket vent mounts or sticky mounts.

We like pop sockets anyway for holding our phone, but the knockoff pop socket mounts on amazon (that yes, come with it) have a really dynamic locking system that can really grip hard onto any vent covers regardless of size or shape. Plus it's like $6.

We went with this one. It's not perfect, but it's just so cheap!

I'm left-handed and I have this thing on the vent to the left of the wheel (and a magnet strip inside my phone case). Works fine, although somewhat more annoying if you want the phone plugged in, since the cable needs to get to that side of the steering wheel from the center console.

I have found mounts from ProClip to be the highest-quality and sturdiest (but not cheapest) option. They offer tailor-made left-side mounts for my car as well as yours. I snaked a long USB cable beneath the dash / molding to keep everything tidy.

I'm a leftie with a small car (Honda Fit) and I use this. I have it mounted on the little bit of window/glass that's in between the windshield and the driver's side window. But I also could have put it on the dashboard's leftmost area. Works really well.

I am ambidextrous and I mount my phone on the left between the wheel and the pillar. I have the exact same product as BlahLaLa. I am very happy with it. Surprisingly happy to tell you the truth.

Left handed and have used this Mpow Cell Phone Mount on the left side of the windshield above the inspection sticker for about a year and a half so far. Sadly Amazon now lists it as unavailable. Perhaps you can find something similar.
