Entomology hive mind, help me satisfy my curiosity and identify this bug

Asking for a friend in rural Missouri. It's not a pest but we're curious about it is.

This insect (alternate view) was spotted on his kitchen faucet. Exterminators were on the property for a separate issue but he asked them if they knew what it was. They're very confident it's not a cockroach or any other kind of pest. It's nothing concerning, we're just very curious about what kind of bug this is.

It's about 2cm long (not quite an inch) and most of the body is conical/cylindrical rather than being pinched near the thorax like a wasp.

Any ideas bug enthusiasts of metafilter?

Looks like a stonefly, pretty similar to this one claimed to be a member of genus Isoperla.

The Seek app also says stonefly, but not which one.

I agree it looks like a stonefly, but don’t know which (of many). Kind of a cool and weird wanderer to find in a house! I hope our resident freshwater ecologist(s) chime in to explain what they can :)

Entomologist here, but not an expert on these particular insects. Looks like a stonefly. Did you see two long threadlike tails coming out from behind its wings? That and the wing veination would point to a stonefly. I think musicinmybrain might be right about it being Isoperla.
