Looking for name of band from Underground USA#3

Was watching "Underground USA #3" on exptv.org (focusing on late 70's/early 80's underground music/clips from such folks as Da, Minutemen, and Crime), and about 13 minutes in there was a video featuring a catchy post-punkish tune featuring a succession of folks posing in front of a single stationary camera. Unfortunately exptv doesn't include the names of the bands/songs in the clips, so I'm wondering if anyone else who saw the show knew the name of the band and the song being played.

Is this video on YouTube the same as the one you saw on exptv.org? The song at 13:50 matches your description. I don’t recognize it, unfortunately.

Response by poster: Transmissions From Vrillon that's the one (playing from 13:50-16:27), thanks. Unfortunately it doesn't mention the band name there (or in the YouTube info) either.

Response by poster: (Realized I accidentally deleted part of my response). Still, if anyone checks out the link and recognizes the band/song, I'd definitely be grateful for an ID.

Reddit’s Name That Song subreddit might be able to help.

Sounds a lot like Gang of Four, but not sure which song. I’m on my mobile so can’t make out the lyrics very well, but perhaps a google of Gang of Four plus a lyric line and you’ll have it?

The main chorus is "can't believe you're not a fag" but that doesn't produce any good results via internet search.

Here's the main lyrics, repeated twice:
"
there's a column in a room of a building on the corner of a street where the curves runs through

there's a sticker of a hand in the middle of a man....

There's a person who can prove that is tied to a chair in the middle of a room that is full.
can't believe you're not a f***

Second chorus is repeated:
"
take to a room wear white on black
take me back
"

None of these lyrics seem to be googleable.

You might try just dropping a message to the exptv folks (there’s a contact thing at the bottom of their main page). They’ve been very knowledgeable and eager to chat about their work, in my experience.

I did write to the exptv folks, but haven’t heard back.

Response by poster: I also tried writing to them, but never heard back. (It's entirely possible said clip was just on some random video they obtained, and that even they didn't know who it was). Shazam didn't help, and running the main chorus lyric through Discogs only got me some noisecore band.
