I need help figuring out how to input the fun Sunday answers! Spoilers inside.

The grey boxes get “tick” vertically and “box” horizontally but how in hell do you I put those both into the iOS app? I know about the rebus key on the keyboard, but I can’t figure out what I’m supposed to do with it.

Best answer: Oh I had trouble with this too! The rebus entry is just “box” in all the grey boxes- the theme answer tells you to tick the boxes, i.e. turn the boxes into ticks.

Best answer: I filled it in with “tick” as the rebus for every theme answer, figuring the “box” was represented by the grey letter square. The app also read that as correct.

Ha! I went through and carefully typed “tick box” into all the squares and that definitely wasn’t correct!

You can use a slash to separate across and down entries. For example, this is what I did: BOX/TICK

(Apparently, you can also just use the first letters, for example B/T, but that hurts my brain so I don't do that.)

Man I did TICK/BOX and it was a big pain and I wish I'd known I could just write one or the other
