Secular Homeschooling Kits for Preschoolers

We are probably not going to send our almost 3 year old to her preschool program in the fall. I would like to take on beginning a preschool at home. I’m looking for suggestions for subscription services where EVERYTHING is provided in the subscription. Requirements inside.

- secular only
- play based, not worksheet. We were going to send our kid to a Montessori school and prior to this attended a RIE-based daycare
- I plan on working with her. I do not anticipate tons of independent work though of course if that happens great! Services that expect a classroom of kids or siblings won’t work for us though.
- she’s sight reading a lot of words and I’d like to help her keep going.

I really just need a curriculum of some sort to keep us going. It’s important to me that everything I would need comes in the box. I also do not want to spend more than two hours a week lesson planning.

Thanks for your recommendations!

I haven’t used it myself, but friends like Oak Meadow, which is secular with an emphasis on arts and nature.

Best answer: We’ve been using Blossom & Root for the summer and have been happy with it. My kid is elementary aged but it looks like they also have PreK.

This isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, since it’s just the curriculum and not the supplies, but my 2.5 year old and I have really been enjoying Playing Preschool by Busy Toddler. The supplies are almost all stuff we have around the house anyway, so that has been easy, and she offers ideas for subbing read aloud books you have at home, etc.

Have you checked out Montessori by Mom? After my daughter’s Montessori preschool closed, I bought their language kit and was really happy with it. They also have subscription boxes that seem pretty complete.
