During the pandemic I've found myself enjoying a new kind of social interaction. I visit friends at their homes. They stay on their balcony or porch; I stay on the sidewalk. It's been wonderful even with the distance between us, and I expect other people have been doing similar things. Has anyone coined a term for these socially distanced visits? If not, what should they be called?
My mind keeps going to the balcony scene from Romeo & Juliette even though the context is completely different. A balconette? Something else? Has someone else already thought of something for socially distanced visits in general?
Related, is there a word for a selfie that includes physically distanced people? When I've taken them, it's generally been my partner and I in the foreground and our friends in the far background.

Not just for this, but I've been using 'distant socialising' for a lot of what we get up to.

Here in Wisconsin people refer to "driveway drinks."

Response by poster: Circling back -- I like driveway drinks, and distance socializing, but it still feels like there should be something better. I'm going to mark this resolved and see what the world comes up with. Thanks for all your suggestions.
