Recommend some quality cross platform multiplayer mobile games

My brother is on a Pixel 3A with no other household PC, and I'm on an iPhone SE 2 (with computers galore) and this pandemic social isolation quarantine business has us both bored. Recommend us some good multiplayer games that we can play while crossing state and OS boundaries.

Price isn't an issue. We had a good thing going with the Carcassonne app before my Nexus 5X finally bootlooped, but also that app just underwent some BS and IDK if the old or new one are even cross platform.

Ok, this is very very old school but my friends and I have been getting back into chess. Chess.com has apps cross platform or via their website.

Ticket to Ride
Patchwork
Splendor
Lost Cities
Settlers of Catan (add a computer player too - 2p isn't very fun)
Dominion (using dominion.games)
Scythe
Terraforming Mars

So many of the tabletop game apps support cross platform multiplayer now. There are plenty more. You just got unlucky with Carcasaone because they sold app rights to an iOS-only company first. I think in the past 6 months or so the rights reverted and Asmodee released their own (worse) iOS Carcassone app. Some of those have Steam versions that you'd have to check for interop with the android version. But iOS/Android interop is there and with Dominion on dominion.games you can use a computer.

2nding chess, but I find that blitz chess is a lot more fun. We play 3+2 Blitz, where you get 3 minutes for the game, plus 2 seconds added each move. That really keeps things moving and exciting.

One site I really like is Lichess.org. It has a really clean interface. We use it (no install) from Windows, Macs, iPhones, and Chromebooks (haven't tried it from an Android phone). Can use it w/o a sign-up.

Partner and I have enjoyed Puzzle and Dragons, AFK Arena, Kingdom Hearts: Union Cross, and Pokémon Go (I’ve heard they’ve added features to make it playable during quarantine, though I haven’t played recently myself). We’re in the same situation, Pixel and iPhone, so all those apps should work on both.

This is a one-shot, an evening or two at most, but my friend and I really enjoyed playing Tick Tock: A Tale for Two together. Available for Android and iOS; you can play cross-platform because of the unique game setup (your computers don't communicate, instead you have to).

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is a favorite 'round here.
