Featured Photos in a Facebook Event

How do I control the photos that appear in a Facebook event's page? The event is being virtually hosted by a business page. There are photos from events past that I don't want associated with the virtual event I am hosting that are appearing in the Photos section of the event under the event description. Can we choose the photos that appear there? Can we turn them off?

I am working with the business owner and administrator of Cool Page. The photos were posted by another page (Uncool Page) and tagged Cool Page as a location. The admins of Uncool Page are Assholes and cannot be reasoned with. The content includes drunken behavior and a person in a full latex outfit and fetish boots (I am not personally against any of these things, but they don't fit the tone of my event and may turn off my audience).

This is NOT the featured photo at the top of the event. These are photos that appear in the event listing after the description of the event. I would be happy with having no photos, or with being able to select the photos that appear. Cool Page has thousands of photos posted by the business to choose from.

Part of what is making this so challenging is Facebook's ever-changing interface, so advice online from 2 years ago doesn't make sense now. The interface to set up an event doesn't mention these pictures or have a way to select them; they just randomly appear once the event is posted.

So, how do we manage these pictures?

Can't you delete them, as admins of the page?

Can you delete the Cool Page location tag on the applicable Uncool Page photos? That works for regular tags on personal pages. Not sure if location tags work the same though. Even if it does I suppose they could always retag if they noticed, so could turn into a bit of whack-a-mole.

Couple of possibilities:
• Under Settings\People & Pages, Uncool Page can be banned if it "likes" Cool Page. (Probably that would help?)
• Does Cool Page typically have followers use its location tagging to check in? If not, it can be disabled, which breaks all those links. Do this by unchecking the box below the address information in the Page Info section.
