Where did the list of presidential candidates go?

I visited the FEC.gov website in January to contact Oregonians who were running for president as part of an interviewing project I'm doing. I seem to remember at least 3,000 people were in an FEC.gov spreadsheet on the site. I just visited it again this evening and I couldn't find that list anymore. Balletpedia and Wikipedia have lists of names and party affiliation, but their list is now only about a thousand people long, and no contact information.

I can't follow up with anyone new who has registered since January because the detailed spreadsheet from the FEC.gov is no longer there. Where is it? Am I missing something?

Best answer: There are a few different views on the FEC website to access all the 2020 presidential candidates that have filed. Filing meaning they must have at least $5,000 in contributions or expenditures.

This is probably what you are looking for: https://www.fec.gov/data/candidates/president/?election_year=2020&cycle=2020&election_full=true. Click the blue export button to get the data in CSV form, which then gives more details for each candidate including their address if you want to dial in candidates that filed within Oregon.

Disclosure: I used to work on this website.
