Google Domains Question

I've set up a google domain for a family member, and it has a feature where you can customize a number of different email aliases to be forwarded wherever you'd like. So the website is (for example) coolsite.com, and we have [e-mail], [e-mail], and [e-mail]. There is a built in setting where we can have this forwarded wherever we would like. Right now, we set up a [e-mail] address to take in all of the email by default, as it's easy to work with. The question is this: is there a way to return the email with the name and domain that came in? So, if [e-mail] was sent, we want gmail to have the "from" field to not indicate it's from gmail, but [e-mail]. Is there a way to do this with our current setup, or would we have to try something else? Is it possible to do it all with one default email that receives any number of different aliases we would set up within the domain? Thanks so much.

It sounds like the Send emails from a different address or alias feature does what you're looking for. You can "send as" up to 99 aliases per account.
