Replacement for Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Butter

My beloved Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Butter has gone away for good. I stocked up but am about to finally run out so am looking for a replacement, preferably something that has cocoa butter as one of the main ingredients, and that will not irritate my eczema. I primarily use it on my hands.

The discontinued product is a blend of cocoa butter, shea butter, glycerine, and soybean oil, with some other stuff, and had a very mild scent. It was fairly thick but you could still spread it on your hands, was great for moisturizing my dry/eczema hands, and did not have a heavy scent/perfume (which I can't handle) and did not have ingredients that would irritate the eczema. I really need something now that we are doing all the extra hand washing with Coronavirus. Something available in the U.S., and big bonus points for available by mail order, would be great.

We tried Body Works Cocoa Shea Coconut Body Butter, but it is too strongly scented for us, sigh. (We are also not interested in trying to make something ourselves.)

Best answer: Have you tried Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula in the squat jar? In high rotation here for exactly that purpose.

Best answer: I use Palmer's as chesty_a_arthur suggested, or Queen Helene Face and Body Creme (also in a jar!). Both do have mild cocoa scents, but I'd put them about on par with Body Shop's Cocoa Butter Body Butter, and definitely not perfume-y at all. I know I found Queen Helene on Amazon, and I get Palmer's at CVS. (And, honestly, probably could get it on Amazon!)

Trader Joe's sells a lotion made with Shea Butter, Vitamin E, and Coconut Oil. They usually have testers so you can take a sniff test to be sure it's not too offensive.

Best answer: I use Palmer's as well - it appears to be available on Amazon.

I have extremely mild eczema, but this stuff is magical for keeping my hands moist. Before I used it, I would occasionally get dry, cracked skin and when I bought it, it healed the cracks completely within a few days. It has a mild cocoa scent, but is not at all what I would consider strong compared to typical body lotions.

Best answer: Chagrin Valley has a cocoa butter cream. I like their other products, but cocoa butter doesn't work for me, so I haven't tried this specifically.

After much trial and error my holy grail is Borage Therapy. It is a lotion, rather than a body butter or a cream, but it's the most moisturizing thing I've ever used and it doesn't irritate my eczema--plus it sinks in quickly and isn't greasy so you can go about your business without leaving oil stains on everything you touch. It contains cocoa butter, albeit not as the first ingredient, as well as aloe, jojoba oil, safflower oil, and glycerine, and is fragrance-free.
