Recipes with walnut liqueur?

I have walnut liqueur and I'd like to use it in food.

I have some "orehovec," which is Slovenian walnut liqueur. It's lighter than nocino and much less sweet. In fact you can hardly taste any sweetness, though it is nicely nutty.
I don't really want to drink it straight. Are there any recipes I could use it in? Like, anything. I can't find any Slovenian recipes to use it in, just recipes for making the liqueur itself.

This isn’t a recipe, but I bet pouring a little over vanilla ice cream would work well.

I feel like it would make a good soak for a dense cake, like a coffee cake, if you balanced it out with some simple syrup. Do a crunchy candied walnut topping to drive home the flavor.

Any (well, most) desert / pastry dishes that uses walnut in the recipe can use a dash of this. For a fantastic cream that goes with everything: whip some cream, add some sugar and some ground walnuts (to taste) and some of your liquor. Never had this, but the almond version is already better than sex, so brace yourself.

It would be good to work into a granola recipe.

sounds like it would be tasty in any chocolate preparation, esp in a nut based chocolate cake or stirred into cocoa.

On the savory side, I haven't tried it, but what about in fondue, instead of kirsch? I bet that would be amazing. And use cubes of a bread with nuts in it to serve... omg best party.

We used to make zabaglione, put it on ice cream, and sprinkle that with walnuts. Heavenly. What I would try is to make the zabaglione using the walnut liqueur in place of the marsala. Instead of ice cream you could also pour it on strawberries or other fruit.

Subbing out the hazelnut liquor in this simplified chocolate pot de creme recipe would probably work well.

Building on the chocolate mousse thread from a couple days ago, this incredibly simple 3 ingredient mousse (chocolate, water, salt) is delicious and, per a commenter, the water can be substituted with booze. Just thinking about walnut chocolate booze mousse is making me sad that I'm eating steamed cauliflower for lunch.

Nthing any chocolate recipe; any sweet baked good would probably benefit. It might also be good to put a dash of it in stir fry. Maybe mix a little into pancake syrup.
